Access Policy

Known friends and family members with access to the site are able to view all data in the database.

Public access to the database is provided as a way to connect with others who may be researching someone already in or connected to my own family tree. Pedigree information for the living (or assumed living) is restricted to the surname.  To keep the site simple and easy to read, data for the deceased is limited to full name and dates of birth and death if known.

While everyone is welcome to create an account on the site, access to the genealogy data is not automatic.  If you are interested in sharing information about someone, please contact me and explain as much as you can about the person of interest.

Research Tools

I use Genbox to keep track of my own research.  If you consider yourself fluent in databases and genealogy, I'd recommend the program to you.  If you consider yourself relatively less familiar with either databases or research, you might be better served with another program.

All site integration with Genbox was coded by me specifically for this website. As the code integrates with the database structure for ChuckPrice.com, I do not make the code available to the public. However, since Genbox uses a MSJet database, you will likely find it easy enough to integrate into your own site.
